The World’s Largest Christmas Tree

Created on the slopes of Mount Ingino, which overlooks the city, the Gubbio Christmas Tree is made up of over 300 light sources of various colors, capable of creating a truly unique and special chromatic effect, all connected by approximately 8,500 meters of electric cables.
Due to its gigantic size, it entered the Guinness Book of Records in 1991 as the World’s Largest Christmas Tree.

To feel even more involved, you can join the ‘ADOPT A LIGHT’ initiative: you can dedicate a tree light to a loved one, and the small donation requested will keep it lit throughout the Christmas season. All information is available on the website www.alberodigubbio.com

As every year, it is possible to pick up the Tree Calendar, optionally leaving a small donation for the “Alberaioli” Association, at the IAT Office on Via della Repubblica 15.

The official lighting ceremony will take place on December 7th starting at 6:00 PM.

The Tree remains lit from 5:00 PM until late at night throughout the Christmas period, until the Sunday after Epiphany.
