900Swingitaliano – Omaggio all’Umbria

Music and the beauty of the Umbrian landscape meet once again thanks to the Omaggio all’Umbria project, which, with the support of the Perugia Foundation, offers a new artistic event. On Friday, September 5, 2025, at 6:30 pm, the Hemicycle of the Basilica of Sant’Ubaldo will host a special concert, combining the charm of swing music with the timeless appeal of the popular melodies of the 1950s and 1960s.
The musicians of the group 900Swingitaliano will take to the stage, featuring Massimo Sberna on keyboards, Adriano Silvestri on drums, singers Gloria Cascelli and Maria Silvestri, and saxophonist Emanuele Burnelli. With them, the audience will be able to take a musical journey through an Italy that danced and dreamed to the rhythm of tunes that shaped the history of song.
It’s not just music, but also culture and solidarity: the event enjoys the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, the Umbria Region, the Municipality and Diocese of Gubbio, the Umbria Chamber of Commerce, the University for Foreigners of Perugia, and UNICEF Italy, an organization for which Omaggio all’Umbria represents the region.

The concert is free, subject to availability; in case of rain, the evening will still take place, at the same time, inside the Basilica of Sant’Ubaldo. (source, press release from the organizer)
