Feast of St. Martin – Greasy Tree

On the evening of November 11th, the feast of San Martino is celebrated with the traditional greasy pole.
This event, now well-known for many years, will brighten the saint’s day, a celebration particularly cherished by the residents of the Gubbio neighborhood of the same name.

Several teams of competitors will do their best to reach the highest point possible and win prizes at the top of the greasy pole.
