The Way of the Nativity Scene

The life-size nativity scene through the streets of the historic San Martino neighborhood has reached its 28th edition.

The idea, born spontaneously from the initiative of a small group of families, has over time attracted a growing number of people, especially young people.
Imagination and skill bring to life characters immersed in scenes of everyday life, the crafts and arts of ancient Gubbio, who seem to live alongside the locals.
Each year, a different religious theme is highlighted.
The inauguration is traditionally on the afternoon of December 8th.

Please note that entry to the nativity scene is free, and any donations will be used entirely for subsequent displays.
